Feeling unloved
Did anyone experience their child telling them that you don’t know what love is, you don’t care about my feelings and that you were abandoning them after sharing their letter? I know the process is not easy but it does feel wonderful to know I’m giving her the confidence to know she can handle it. i believe she associates the reassurance with love. It does break my heart thinking she doesn’t but going to push through.

Hi,
my son said all kinds of nasty names. He said I didn’t live him, didn’t understand and more. I haven’t had to read a letter in quite awhile, but his growth and attitude had been amazing. He wasn’t working, now works and pays bills (not happily always). He had learned to control his anger (and have I) and he goes out with his friends (he didn’t leave the house for almost one year). Hang in there!! It’s so worth it. Amy
