Hello! New to the program and forum. We have our plan to reduce accommodations for our 10 year old at bedtime. We’re announcing it to them this Friday and to be honest, I’m more than a little terrified of their reaction. I don’t think they’ll get aggressive but I do expect lots of tears, anger, and threats of leaving their room. I guess I’m hoping for any words of wisdom/commiseration from other parents who have been through it? I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Lebowitz’s brilliant book and this forum! Thank you in advance for any thoughts!
